    What's special

Text or email replies only please (no phone calls). This house is tucked away in the quiet & secluded neighborhood of Pigeon Point which, according to data from Seattle University's annual Public Safety Survey, wins the award for the lowest crime fear in all of Seattle! (See Seattle Times article April 25, 2022.) For many years this neighborhood was one of Seattle's best kept secrets especially given its close proximity to downtown (10 minutes) these days it's difficult to find openings in this popular community. The house is set against a greenbelt that runs along the eastern edge of Pigeon Point. The main living areas are open concept, all having visual access to the large windows facing the greenbelt. There's a gas stove in the kitchen. The heat is natural gas. In the spring and summer you can have your morning coffee out on the deck and enjoy the greenery. On winter evenings you can see the lights below the ridge as they sparkle through the branches of the bare trees. The house is heated with natural gas, and has a gas stove. There is a 560 sf basement offering tons of space for storage or projects. The full-size washer and dryer are located in the basement. Please note: while this is a two bedroom house, the second bedroom is fairly small and is perhaps best suited as an office or nursery. Just outside the neighborhood, down the west hill you will find Uptown coffee, West Seattle Health Club, Subway, Ounces Taproom and Beer Garden, as well as Longfellow Creek and Dragonfly Park. Five minutes will get you to either the Admiral or Alaska junction with restaurants, shopping, movie theater, PCC, Whole Foods. And it's only a mile and a half to Alki Beach. Easy access to Highway 99, I-5, 509, and I-90. Other: Animals are negotiable depending on size, age, and breed and would require pet rent. Tenant pays all utilities and also is responsible for the yardwork. Street parking is never a problem; there is always ample space available. Applicant must be able to begin tenancy March 1, 2023 or before. Detailed Criteria and Disclosures, which are required reading, can be found in the photo gallery. You are encouraged to check out this great neighborhood but please do not disturb the current tenants and do not enter the property unless accompanied by the owner. Thanks! See Criteria & Disclosures posted in photo gallery.
