Entire furnished house in Southeast Portland, located in the Creston area between Foster/Powell, Woodstock, and Division/Clinton neighborhoods. On the main floor is the living room and dining room with original hardwood floors. The kitchen has a retro feel and tons of cabinet and counter space. Towards the rear entrance is a laundry area and a half bath. The office has a large south facing window that looks out into the garden. There is a piano in the office and a recently installed pellet stove in the dining room. On the second floor are 3 large bedrooms and a full bathroom. 2 of the bedrooms are suitable for adults (a queen bed in each), and one is a little smaller and more suitable as a kids room (currently being used as a toddler's bedroom). The full bathroom is recently remodeled with a walk-in shower and a deep bath tub surrounded by beautiful natural slate tiles. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a small space for an office that is currently being purposed as a second office for working from home. The backyard is fully fenced in. The garden has a lot of flowers and plants as well planter boxes to grow your fruits and vegetables. There is a shed to store gardening tools, bikes, and a lawn mower, and a brick patio with outdoor furniture for lounging in the summer (also a hammock). Our 4-year-old daughter loves the backyard as it is big and safe to play in. The driveway is large enough to accommodate two cars on the side of the house. The unfinished basement is mostly used for storage. The house is in a great neighborhood for walking/biking/jogging. Our preference is for a 12-month lease, though we're open to shorter terms (minimum 6 months) if needed. We require first month's rent plus a security deposit equal to half a month's rent. The home is fully furnished, but we're happy to discuss the removal of certain pieces if preferred. Utilities, including garbage, water/sewer, electricity, gas, and internet, can be included for an additional $500 per month. A property manager is available to handle maintenance requests and minor repairs. No smoking. We prefer no pets, though this can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
