    What's special

2/15/17 move-in Hi I am looking for a third roommate for our luxury 3 BR 2.5 BA penthouse apartment in the Longfellow building at the West End apartments. Professional responsible and laid back preferred. Would be living with two guys in their mid to late 20's working in finance and consulting. The unit is on the top (38th) floor and extremely spacious at 1745 square feet. Features: -Upgraded granite kitchen with stainless steel appliances (including- dishwasher and microwave) -Amazing views of Boston Charles River etc. from every window- (including all bedrooms) -10x10 balcony -Hardwood floors -High ceilings -Built in air conditioner/heater in every room The bedroom offered is the master 21'x12' with two large walk in closets and a private master bath w/ shower. There is also plenty of additional closet space within the unit. The view from the bedroom overlooks the State House Beacon Hill Boston Common and Copley. Complex has a pool (newly renovated with cabanas) fitness center (newly renovated) study lounge movie theater 24-7 concierge and many amenities (restaurants conveniences) at your door. 5 minute walk to Charles MGH redline station 5 minutes to Bowdoin blue line and 5 minutes to North station so all subway lines are very close. 5 minute walk to Beacon Hill and MGH. Whole Foods and CVS are a 1 minute walk. 24/7 covered parking is available in the building for 360/month. Reverse commuter rates are available at nearby garages for 90/month (can't be there between 9am-3pm on weekdays). Utilities average 100 / month. Lease runs through the end of June 2017. To move in you would need first month's rent and 1/3 of the 1900 deposit (633). This is the complex's website and you can view the floor plan under "luxury 3br rooms": Fun fact this used to be David Ortiz's apartment. Email me with some information about yourself and any questions. Thanks for looking!! FAQ QUESTION: Is it rented by owner or the building? How responsive are they to maintenance issues? ANSWER: We all rent. You'd be on the lease and make your rental payments to our landlord Equity Residential. Maintenance is very responsive just file a report online and they fix it within a day. No hassle. QUESTION: Does the rent generally go up a bunch when a contract is renewed? I've heard that this is an issue with some of the CRP apartments. ANSWER: Anywhere from 100 to 300 per year split three ways. Our current lease ends in June so i'm not actually sure how much it will go up if any. QUESTION: Is the balcony only for this unit or shared with other units? ANSWER: Balcony is private. QUESTION: Do pool and fitness center in the complex require additional fees or is this included for residents? ANSWER: Fitness center is free. The pool is 300 per apartment for the whole season. So if you wanted to use it you'd have to pay 100 per year. Pool is open memorial day to labor day. QUESTION: Are utilities split equally between the 3 people? ANSWER: Electric is split 3 ways cable/internet is split for the most part except currently some of us pay a little more to have a cable box in our rooms. Renter pays cable/electric. Don't need to pay last month's rent or realtor fee.
