Nestled in the picturesque New England town center of Andover, minutes from gourmet dining, coffee shops, a Whole Foods supermarket, the Addison Art Gallery, Merrimack College and Phillips Andover we present the new: Bell House "Hygge" Retreat. It's a 200 year old structure that was completely rebuilt and remodeled by a highly skilled design team. It's packed with modern amenities including digitally controlled central heat and air conditioning, an ultra modern kitchen, a fully stocked Keurig coffee station, stainless microwave, stove and fridge, a luxurious Kohler bath, plush towels & linens, and a calming design aesthetic. The interior was decorated in a Nordic style that evokes "Hygge". The word hygge means: "giving comfort to someone" or "to console". The word has roots in ancient Norse, and the term reflects our English word "Hug". So hygge is simply the feeling of being embraced by the wonderful things of the world. The Bell House Retreat offers that in spades. There's a gracious primary bedroom with a sumptuous queen bed, linen curtains and furnishings by Article Furniture, a secondary bedroom with twin beds, Japanese Wabi-Sabi art and a cathedral ceiling, and a pull out couch with another full bed in the living room. The kitchenette seating area offers vegan leather chairs and an expanding wood table from West Elm. Outside is a private patio seating for morning coffee and stone firepit. It's a perfect location for a family or couple visiting the area for graduations and sightseeing, or for those that simply need a relaxing Hygge retreat from the world. Utilities included. First and last month's rent and deposit. Monthly cleaning required paid by tenant. $150. No smoking/vaping on the property. One parking space on the property.
