Richardson ISD is one of the top education systems in the country, and major companies currently calling Richardson home include Texas Instruments, Fossil, Nortel, Eriksson, The University of Texas at Dallas, and the new state of the art performance hall, The Charles W. Eisemann Center. Downtown Dallas is 15 to 20 minutes away, DFW Airport via George Bush Toll Way is only about 30 minutes, the Oklahoma borders is less than 2 hours, and Louisiana casinos about 3 hours away.
