Almost new barndominium, walk to Cordell Hull Lake. Qtr mile from Defeated Creek Marina. We bought this home Jan '25. Must sell to be closer to my daughter who is having my first grandchild! Walk to the lake down the road & go fishing for bass and crappie! Plenty of fishing spots all around the lake, even at the Defeated Creek Marina (entrance only a qtr mile away). Also enjoy swimming, hiking, play sets for kids, and walking trails at the marina/park and enjoy the very abundant wildlife! A well-stocked hardware store/lumber yard is also down the road for your convenience, as well as a historic diner (very good food) and gas station. Dollar General is about 4 miles away, and the town of Carthage is 6 miles away. Enjoy the comforts of living in a small town, but close enough to big towns for more choices. Plus, the Nashville airport is only an hour away. What the owner loves about this home
We love the beauty that surrounds the home, the wildlife, and the easy access to the lake, fishing and hiking! Just a few days ago (beginning of July), I was lucky enough to watch an eagle hunting for fish while my dog took a morning swim in the lake. Soooo amazing! And we love not being in a big, crowded town, but close enough to some of them when we need to do some big shopping. Super laid-back way of life for sure.
