    The Brickie Ranch is a little under 6,000 deeded acres and over 66,000 acres of private BLM grazing allotments. The ranch is located approximately one hour east of Bend Oregon which has all the major services, shopping, medical facilities and much more. The closest commercial airport is about an hour and twenty minutes in Redmond Oregon. The High Desert Eastern Oregon Ranch has the deeded land bordering BLM grazing allotment. The BLM allotment consists of 14 separate pastures on the BLM with an average of 7612 total AUM's. There is one field each year that has rest rotation. The allotment has 60% developed range into crested wheat seeding. The BLM allotment also has a 1000 foot elevation change giving it good later summer pasture in the higher elevation. There is an extensive watering system with multiple wells connected to miles of buried water lines to troughs throughout the permit plus dirt water holes from spring runoffs. In addition to the grazing permits, the ranch has one irrigation pivot that irrigates 273 acres of alfalfa that produces approximately 1350 tons of hay for 3 cuttings. The rest of the improvements are minimal but have the basic needs with a hay base, good set of corrals and platform scales on Hwy 20. An off grid singlewide manufactured home located at the Brickie Ranch homestead. This ranch can run 1000 head of mother cows for 5 - 5 1/2 months plus hay production. You will be purchasing a true cattle operation and won't be paying for the high valued improvements like some other ranches.
