For the month of august: A 60's log cabin lovingly tended. Situated on meads mountain on a private road, secluded in the forest with sweeping views over the Ashoka reservoir and the Hudson valley. While you have total privacy, you are also in the center of Woodstock in a mere 5 minutes by car. The home is furnished with quirky and charming details collected in the 20 years we have owned our cabin. It's simple living on our mountain, with all necessary requisites to work remotely but disconnect from the world. We don't have A/C and you will have to wash your dishes. Instead you will feel the breeze of the altitude, meditate on views over the Hudson valley and smell the flavors of your own baked pizza or smoked/grilled meats if you like to mix it up Instead of going to one of the many restaurants in town. Garbage: We don't receive garbage removal because we are on a steep private mountain road. We could set up a once a week pick up for your garbage to be brought to the dump. Otherwise it's a 10 minute drive. We do separate and recycle. There is a compost in the back of the adjunct music studio.
