We are renting the house fully furnished, BUT THIS IS NOT A VACATION RENTAL. My grandfather built this home in the 70's, we love that we have been able to keep it in the family. We like to have it furnished so we can have our large family come visit when the home is not rented. Right now our ideal lease would be at least 6 months, but would consider much longer ( many years) for the right tenant. This house is in a safe gated community, on the fairway, with gorgeous ocean views. We get beautiful sunset views every night from our fairway /ocean facing patio. The house was built in the late 70's and has a very Hawaiian Island feel. It's a beautiful, peaceful home. It is conveniently located across the road from Ulua beach & Mokapu beach (The Andaz Hotel) where the Wailea Beach Path starts, and a very short walk to the shops of Wailea and all the major hotels in Wailea. Ulua beach is very popular for snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, and paddle boarding, and it is a great beach for kids and adults too. Mokapu beach has great access to a long stretch of sand for a morning run, or sunset stroll on the sand. And if you prefer a path the Wailea beach path is often used to run or walk and takes you to the front of all the Wailea hotels, so there are many great places to walk, go for a run, a paddle, or for dinner/drinks. The entire house has a large open floor plan with high open beam ceilings. Hardwood and marble floors, no carpet. It also has many windows for 180 degree views of the ocean and fairway. There is a large bedroom that has beautiful views of mature mango trees, and you can often hear the ocean at night. The upstairs master bathroom has a walk in shower and spa tub and is open and bright. The kitchen is huge and has custom marble. The floors throughout the house are real wood, marble, and custom stone. There is so much character and love put into the house, some special features are custom stained glass windows in both entry ways. The house is surrounded by mature mango, coconut, plumeria, and macadamia nut trees. There is also a BBQ area and large decks and patios for enjoying the beautiful location. Some answers to frequently asked questions. We do have AC, we do not have a pool, but we do have a 6 person hot tub. There are stairs from the garage up to the main level of the house, and the house has 2 stories. There is a guest house on the property that is usually occupied, but we have taken many measures to make the main house very private from the guest house. You would hardly even see the people living in the guest house. Right now it is empty, but we are consider renting it as well. The main house we are renting faces the ocean and the guest house faces the road, there are no shared walls. We will consider pets for the right tenants, but they would need to be approved.
