The Benjamin Whiting House circa 1790 is situated in the Historic District facing the Lunenburg Common. Antique lovers will appreciate the wealth of architectural detail. There are wide pine floors, fine moldings, wrought iron hardware, beehive oven, set kettle, mantels and paneled doors with case locks. Of the seven fireplaces, four of them are working. The exterior has original clapboards with scarfed joints, dentil mouldings and double-side columns.
