Indian Hills Cherokee! Rare Mid-Century Modern home designed by noted architect Norman Sweet. Sweet's design implemented a base veneer of reclaimed brick w/ vertical redwood sheathing above, and large spans of windows intended to embrace nature from within. A new standing seam metal roof system was added in August of 2013, enhancing the home's overall linear quality. Inside, the masonry fireplace located in the center of the home acts as the focal point while creating a natural division of living spaces in the otherwise open plan measuring roughly (29' x 39'). The vaulted tongue and groove ceiling is supported by the exposed beam construction w/ detailed connection points at the peaks.
