We are listing this place as a sublease/relet property. We are in the process of building a home and are still in a lease on this unit until August 1st. So we would be looking to find someone qualified to take over the property March 1st and sign a new lease with the landlord, which is the McKel Group, managed by RENT Iowa. The property is really nice and the neighbors are quiet. It is three bedrooms and two bathrooms on a split foyer entry plan. The largest bedroom is on the upper main level along with a coat closet, a full bathroom, and linen closet. There is also a full size deck on the main level and a fire pit in the backyard. The downstairs has two bedrooms and a full size bathroom, living room, and under-stairs storage closet. The utility room contains the washer and dryer. Air conditioning electrical wiring and thermostat was recently replaced over spring and AC and heat function perfect. We have strong allergies and have always used allergen air filters and have had no issues in the unit. Unit was recently inspected by the City and RENT Iowa for code compliance with no issues found. Fire alarms were updated and water heater inspected during process. For our family, utilities average around $100-$140 a month from the City with electric, water, sewage, and associated fees. Gas is through Alliant Energy and averages around $20-$60 during cold temps. Trash, cable, and internet would be your choice, but there is a Dish Network cable dish already on property, we currently use Mediacom for internet with no abnormal issues, and Chitty for garbage. We were allowed to have a small dog, but we did have to pay an additional fee on top of a security deposit so that is something to consider if you will have an animal. Our dog is well-trained with no accidents in the house. Overall, the property is really nice. The garage is spacious enough for two vehicles and plenty of extra items as we have used it well over the 3 years we have been here. The garage door and the roof on the unit was recently replaced along with the siding and gutters. Carpets are about two years old and show normal wear and tear in walkways. We are in the process of building a new house and are expected to close within the end of this month or next. This would put the unit available approximately March 1st, but could be sooner or later so just talk with us. The photos attached were taken by us when we moved in.
