Smoke-Free Community Policy For the health, safety, and comfort of all residents and the protection of the property, this community is designated SMOKE-FREE. What is Prohibited: Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas of the rental unit, including private balconies or patios, as well as all common areas and grounds. Definition of Smoking: "Smoking" includes inhaling, exhaling, burning, or carrying any lighted or heated cigar, cigarette, pipe, hookah, or any other plant product (including marijuana). This policy also prohibits the use of all electronic smoking devices (e-cigarettes, vapes) that create a vapor or aerosol. Tenant Responsibility: All tenants and their guests must comply with this policy. Tenants are responsible for informing their guests of the rules and for any violations caused by them. Consequences: A violation of this smoke-free policy is considered a material breach of the lease agreement and is grounds for enforcement actions, which may include fines for damages/cleaning and potential eviction. 2. Mandatory Renters Insurance Policy For your protection and as a requirement of your lease, all residents must obtain and maintain an active renters insurance policy throughout their tenancy.
