The John Sawyer House, 1877; a Greater Portland Landmark ============================ *If you have contacted me before about the house, please do so again; there was an error in my e-mail address and I was not receiving any requests for information. Thank you.* ============================ This is a lovely second empire house built in 1877 for the then mayor of Deering, Maine, John Sawyer, which is a Grater Portland Landmark. Since purchasing in 2014, I have had many updates done to this house, including a brand new kitchen with mahogany and granite countertops, new appliances, new fence, built-in bookcases, updated some brickwork, replaced the porches, had the house painted and rotting wood repaired, had the grounds landscaped, and created a library. The house has three modern, updated bathrooms. The grounds feature the oldest ginkgo tree in North America as well as several rhododendron and other colorful bushes surrounding the house.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
