Pacific Ocean, beach, Moclips, Seabrook, Pacific Beach, Peninsula, Olympic National Park.
Historic Beachouse on cliff. Watch the whales migrate, the sea birds flock and the summer tourists comb the beach. Amazing uninterrupted view of the Pacific Ocean and beach from this historical home. Perched on top of a cliff overlooking Sunset Beach in the tiny beach town of 500 where wood and fish are what's important. One mile to the towns of Pacific Beach and Seabrook (seabrookwa) Part of restored art colony (4 cottages) of noted Northwest artist, and once featured in Northwest Magazine (Sunday Seattle times.) Homes with this view cost over one million. Hard to find an annual rental in this hot vacation rental market. Work from home in the first-floor office and trade the freeway for the roar of the ocean. Watch the birds migrate and the frightening high sea winter storms. Get up early and walk to the Moclips River to watch the otter.
Part of the Washingtons forgotten coastline south of the Straights of Juan de Fuca, on the majestic Olympic Peninsula, just west of the Olympic National Park and Quinault Rain Forest.
This is a storybook location; on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Green lawns, fish pond, and gardens. Historical home with sway roof, cedar, shake, cobblestone patio. Amazing uninterrupted view of the Pacific Ocean. Tenant is one of four cottages known as Bluff House Studios, shares deck (2000 sf),lawns, pond, gardens and lifestyle with the other residents. No dogs over 10 pounds (strictly enforced). No outside storage. 705 credit score and references required. Available November1st. Long term great tenant moving to our smaller cottage. I have only a few pictures or the interior.
The living/dining room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and private office on first floor. Bedroom and open living or work area/studio/sewing room etc. on second floor. Old growth wood floors, county kitchen, one bathroom. base board heat. NOT a modern unit, actually, sort of primitive like. For example, the bath tub has claw feet, and the porcelain sink is cast iron. Extreme cliff drop off may not be suitable for small children. Tenant pays water sewer ($135.00.), garbage, their own electrical meter and cable. One year lease required.
No dreamers please. Serious inquires only, please. Come write a book but don't think there is any kind of employment on the coast and everywhere is too far to commute. Other residents in this hamlet are welcoming and friendly.
