Hello everyone, We have our recently remodeled our mother-in-law, basement unit (separate entrance, no shared spaces in home) up for rent! It is fully furnished as well. We purchased this house 4 years ago and brought it down to the studs; over the next 18 months we remodeled the house with new appliances, new floors, new doors, electrical, tile, the works! It's also completely furnished and toddler friendly. The 1,000 square foot space for rent is: - newer appliances: fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer, stove/oven (elements replaced) and microwave - 1 bedroom (fits a queen bed) - 1.5 bath; downstairs has a large bathroom with two sinks and shower, upstairs has a small powder bath - washer / dryer in laundry room that can double as an office - kitchen and dining area - 2 living rooms with TV's in each (one room can serve as an office) - vinyl click flooring in basement / linoleum and tile upstairs - coded or keyed door entry - 1-3 month rental - NO SHARED INDOOR SPACES (only backyard is occasionally shared) - parking is on the street and is free and ample Other details: - Seaview neighborhood in West Seattle, very friendly and safe.- 5 blocks from the rapid ride C-line downtown, walking distance to Thriftway, cute bars (that have outdoor seating), and coffeeshops (Heartbeet cafe, Youngstown coffee, Little Prague Bakery, etc) - one mile from Alaska Junction where there is a Sunday Market every week, - with the West Seattle bridge out until next year, we advise you work South of here or commute by bus or bike or work from home. - walking distance to the beach and Colman pool (outdoor heated saltwater pool in Summers) - dogs are ok but we have a separate pet agreement about damage, noise, pet deposit, and picking up poop in the yard. - there is a separate mail box but sometimes the mail is mixed in our mailbox and we just sort it and put it in yours - very friendly neighbors :) we will live upstairs - we are often awake at 6:30-6:45 with our 4 year old and some noise can be heard in the lower unit like us walking down the stairs, but you cannot hear voices or the coffee grinder or anything like that. Normal muffled apartment noise + kids noises. We are looking to rent to a responsible and neighborly person/people. We would like to give you a tour (virtual) before accepting applications so we can make sure we all have realistic expectations. Application fee: $30 / applicant (or rent through airbnb) Security deposit: $2,150 Rent: $2,150 / month (higher than others because it is fully furnished) Utilities: $150/ month (water, sewer, garbage, electricity, wifi) Tenant responsible for approximately $150 in utilities per month including water/sewer/garbage, electricity, and wifi. Mail is delivered in shared box to be sorted by whomever gets to the mail first. Quiet hours are from 9:30PM-6:30AM (I can explain what this means during a tour, it does not mean anyone needs to be silent! We just wont be letting out son run around in the living room during quiet hours and we ask you don't put sneakers in the dryer in the middle of the night) Pets require separate pet agreement and deposit.
