Storage galore: there's a small closet, an old armoire with 5 drawers and a hanging rod, and a big--huge--closet/storage room with W/D hookup and wire shelves for more hanging. Want more space yet? You'll have an outdoor utility closet for a grill, a bike, maybe some fishing gear; and I'll be happy to store other sports equipment, boxes, things like that. But what if there's a thing or three you don't much like? I have other furniture you may like better, or you can buy or bring some of your own so that you can rearrange or mix things up to better suit your taste. The pictures here will show some variations in decor, and I will work with you to make your space feel like your place. The kitchen is equipped with a Keurig, a toaster oven, air fryer and microwave; refrigerator with ice maker and stove. It's a perfect small kitchen, a separate room, for easy meals, or for more gourmet cookery with some creativity. You can eat at the expandable glass top table or on one of two stools at the counter. There's an array of dinnerware and silverware, with painstakingly collected and intentionally mismatched antique pieces. It's clear pressed glass and silver-plate utensils, and mixed with Mom's real silver, equaling funky-fancy. Double sinks look out on a woodsy setting, where you can enjoy large, comfortable rockers on your private patio while watching cardinals, chickadees, woodpeckers and more, and a deer or two sometimes. New double sliding glass doors with screens allow sunlight and fresh breezes, so you never feel boxed in. Choose between light, airy curtains or silver-gray blackout drapes, or change them to match the season. You'll have a private driveway with parking, and a private, dead-bolt entry on a safe and quiet cul-de-sac street. You're just minutes from GA 400 / US 19 (Exit 16) and exactly one minute to Lake Lanier, where there's a park for walking, swimming, picnicking or boat launching. Tidwell Park is small and never over-crowded. Or even crowded at all. Super-clean, large Forsyth County Aquatic Center is about 10 minutes away. One exit south plus a few miles on is Market Place, with Target, Best Buy, Home Goods, etc., plus a few places where you can eat. More urban restaurants and shopping are an easy 20-30 minutes south; mountain hiking and country exploring about the same distance north. Two exits south is highly rated Northside Forsyth Hospital. We're 2 or 3 miles from a fire station and a little over 5 minutes to Kroger (Starbucks), Publix, Walgreens, and some fast-food. Finally, my favorite place in the whole house: the staircase with a wide shelf going along the wall, creating a most unusual way to display photos or art, an interesting place for a library, or a perfect space for a unique collection. The landing has room enough to create a small space for meditation, or to sit in a rocker and read or listen to music...use your imagination, it's going to be your home. My cat Bob lives here, indoors and out; he'll be friendly if you like or easily frightened away if you prefer. For tenants there is a firm No Pet policy, sorry. Absolutely NO smoking or vaping on the premises, and no recreational drugs. EVER. No loud or drunken parties. No loudness or drunkenness at all, actually. Kindly inform landlord of overnight guests staying longer than 5 consecutive nights. Guests staying over 30 days (nights) will be considered to be tenants except under exceptional circumstances. If approved, monthly rent shall then be increased by $185 per month. First and last month rent ($1,770) and a security deposit of $600 are due on move-in; all or partial deposit will be refunded after closing walk-through.
