You will be the first occupants in the space which was designed for maximal ease and comfort. Perfect for a couple or an individual who wants a little more space, the house has one bedroom with a queen bed, a large, fully functional kitchen, and a beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower. The house is partially furnished now with a bed, table, chairs, futon (that can pull out as a bed), and a dresser in the closet. I can remove the some of this if you want to use your own furniture. The Neighborhood: Glenview is a wonderful, safe, and quiet neighborhood with plenty, easy parking and nearby bus line to San Francisco or anywhere in the Easy Bay. We are not close to BART, although if you're a decent cyclist, you can bike there in 15-20 mins. This particular corner of Glenview is especially quiet and safe because it is a bit of a cul de sac and we do not get any pass-through traffic. There's a lovely little strip of restaurants in walking distance with Italian, Japanese, About Me and the Main House: Max (the homeowner) is a 36 year-old business-owner, gardener, artist, athlete, and craftsman who works from home and is always busy with some project or line of study. I have lived here since 2008 and have good relationships with all of the neighbors. The garden has been my obsessive hobby for those many years and is now abundant with fruits and vegetables of all sorts. My goal is to maintain a beautiful, functional household that allows everyone to live the lives they want to live. I am currently renting two other rooms in the main house to two wonderful roommates and we all get along very well and share meals and activities. About You: All types of people are welcome to apply, but you must be occupied (employed or in school), respectful of the space, not excessively noisy, and must communicate well. The house is entirely detached and you will have tons of privacy, but we will likely see each other in the garden space or just coming and going and I hope we can be on friendly terms. The house was designed for a couple, although would be excellent for a single person and we can discuss a discount for that situation. Month to Month contract, but hopefully you will stay for a year or more. Utilities are all included (except Wifi).
