Our renovated historic rental on our 5 generation family farm is fully furnished and features a vintage decor with authentic hardwood floors, suitable for 1 or 2 occupants. The spacious open design consists of a living area (sleeper sofa) and kitchen separated by a 10' bar, and a dining area with a full dining room table. A large sliding glass door opens out to an expansive 30' x 10' private deck overlooking our farm. There is also a large pantry with a conveniently located washer and dryer, and a separate bedroom and bath. All utilities are included... water, electricity, propane and wifi.
Our 3 acre farm is outside of city limits, but a 5-10 minute drive to all the town amenities and to the Waynesville Bypass. My 100 year old home is near the rental so that I am available for any issues that might arise. Our rental has a nice front porch for enjoying your morning coffee and a large private deck in the back with a table, chairs and recliners, for relaxing while you overlook our garden area and woods. We are nestled right in the mountains with the Blue Ridge Parkway encircling our home place, and the nearby ridges look near enough to reach out and touch. Convenience of location, with all the enchantment of farm life in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina!
Owner pays for water, electricity, propane and wifi. There is a monthly ceiling for electricity ($100) and propane ($200). Monthly overages on electricity or propane will be deducted from the deposit. A $150 cleaning fee will also be deducted from the deposit. Other than the accumulation of these charges, the deposit will be fully refundable upon inspection of the rental at the end of the rental period.
The rental is available from November 20, 2025 until May 1, 2025, with a two month minimum.
No pets are allowed. No smoking is allowed. Parking for 1-2 vehicles is available. There are no tenant responsibilities required, other than disposing of your own trash at a nearby city convenience center.
