Huge Primary Bedroom with Ensuite Bath and Private Living Area in All-Female Petworth House
Former Reuters journalist has a fully-furnished massive primary bedroom with ensuite bath and a private living area available for $1,245 a month plus utilities in her clean and quiet Petworth row house that is shared by mature-minded college-educated female housemates.
You would be one of 4 professional young women sharing the 4 bedroom 2.5 bath main portion of the house. Landlord lives in the separate finished basement with its own entrance.
Room 4 (identified in the floor plan attached) has a private sitting area with a full sized 3-seater couch, coffee table, and Roku TV, plus full sized bed, huge closet, dresser, desk, chair, and two area rugs. All linens, towels, pillows, blankets, coat hangers, etc, are provided, much like an Airbnb.
The house has elegantly furnished common areas and a fully equipped kitchen, free washer/dryer, powerful internet and a sunny front porch for the exclusive use of tenants.
The house is less than a mile from the Green subway line at Georgia Avenue and 1 block to express and local busses on Georgia Ave. Easy free street parking. Walk to Safeway, CVS, Yes! Organic Market, and fun Petworth eateries on Georgia Ave, Upsher St, 14th St and Kennedy St.
Previous housemates and the landlord wanted to maintain the home as a quiet refuge after a busy workday, so please follow house rules such no overnight guests, limit day guests to the weekends, no parties/drugs/smoking. Sorry, no pets.
Check out the 3D 360 degree interactive virtual tour included here.
If this is the vibe you're looking for, please message the owner, Mana, with a little something about yourself and to schedule a video call.
Thanks!
