Loon's Nest cottage is perched on the shore of pristine (8 mile long) Branch Lake, 12 miles from downtown Ellsworth and 20 miles from Acadia National Park. This cozy 3 bedroom rustic camp is nestled under the pines, with stunning views across the lake to Great Brook Hill. Enjoy fantastic swimming, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing, directly off the dock (small walkway and ramp to a 4' x 10' float, good for swimming and docking a canoe or small boat) into the crystal waters of one of the most scenic lakes in Downeast Maine. Open plan kitchen, dinning and living room with lake view - heated by centrally located wood stove. This little cottage has been in our family for over 40 years and has received careful and loving care - and it shows.
