The historic building was once the Latimer Middle School designed by German-born Pittsburgh architect, Frederick C. Sauer. Built in 1898, the historic landmark is a yellow, four story building with a variety of different style windows. On the fourth floor, south-facing apartments, you'll get the most stunning views of downtown Pittsburgh. Right behind the School House sits the Allegheny General Hospital, and to the west is a handful of parks and the National Aviary. We sit 1.2 miles from PNC Park and the Andy Warhol Museum, and 1.6 miles from Acrisure Stadium. There are a number of amazing local restaurants and small owned businesses that are walkable distance from the School House too.
