The fully-furnished apartment is the entire upstairs of our 1950s home with private entry and access to a side yard with patio. Walk into an open living room with a brick fireplace, large smart TV, bookshelves and cozy seating, Bluetooth speakers, record player, vintage Nintendo 64 can add to your relaxation and entertainment. When not eating at some of the best local restaurants or breweries, the kitchen is fully equipped to meet your cooking needs including utensils, island, compact dishwasher, microwave, etc. There are three bedrooms and three beds (2 queens and 1 twin that can extend out into a full for guests or extra sleepers). There are two available desks and a kitchen with just about all the tools you'll need for a home cooked meal. Art and books with space to add your own touches. The easy clean bathroom is equipped with a tub/shower and cute tile floor. The front patio, behind a privacy gate is perfect for patio for evening cocktails or space to park a bike, stroller, or anything else you'd like.
The apartment is located in the popular West Seattle Admiral community, ideally set within walking distance of the Admiral Junction's retail, food, and movie theatre. Go a little further (1 bike-friendly mile) to the California Junction for more shopping and dining, or 1 mile west to put your feet in the sand at Alki Beach. The neighborhood is private and quiet on a dead end street. Public transportation is only steps away as well as easy access to the West Seattle bridge or water taxi to downtown Seattle.
Owners live in the downstairs apartment. We're in our 30s, professional, quiet, and respectful. The home is a labor of love for us, and we equally value privacy and community with our tenants. We are happy to keep to our spaces and to share a beer in the backyard. Currently two overly affectionate dogs occupy the downstairs unit. Unfortunately, while extremely human friendly they prefer to be the only animal occupants on the property so we cannot offer space for additional pets at this time. While the unit offers a fenced in private area, a shared large back yard is also accessible with outdoor seating and BBQ..and of course, a visit from the dogs.
