Located in Downtown Bastrop TX, with a convenient location to exit easily onto Hwy 71 Westbound frontage road, or go to the historic district. Close to 2 restaurants, a convenience store/gas station, and a small motel. 4 blocks to the Main Street area boutiques, dining, bars, and live music. Colorado River and entrance to walking trail to Fisherman's Park only 1 block away. Easy access to 2 grocery stores (H-E-B and WalMart), 5 schools & 3 hospitals within 2-3 miles, as well as the beautiful Bastrop State Park with walking/hiking/biking trails, pool during summer months, fishing and camping(entrance fee and fishing license required). $150 non-refundable pet deposit for 1 month stay, or $250 for longer stays (must be spayed/neutered). Max of 2 pets total. Cats or Small/Medium sized dogs (due to fence height of 4.5ft in back yard). Breed restrictions apply. Free Parking for up to 4 cars: 1 in front driveway and up to 3 in rear driveway. No parking in the restaurant parking lots next door allowed. NO EV Charging Allowed, must use nearby charging facilities (lots at Buc Cees) Combined household income MUST be at least 2 times the rent of $2,100 per month (includes fully furnished unit, all utilities, and yard work). Social security, Disability income and Retirement will be considered with proof of income. Note: lawn is not watered outside of Mother Nature, so it is not a green yard during times of low rain, and the winter. Background Criminal & Credit check required. $25 fee per adult (all adults 18 & older must be on lease & get background check). Security deposit of $1,300 & Renter liability insurance required. Selection criteria may include factors such as criminal history, credit history, current income, and rental history. If you do not meet the selection criteria, or if you provide inaccurate or incomplete information, your application may be rejected and your application fee will not be refunded. $150 Check-out Cleaning Fee, non-refundable. 30 Night Minimum stay. 6 months max. Additional potential fees to renter, if damaged or items stolen: -No smoking or vaping (of any kind) allowed. A fine of $250 to $500 assessed, depending on cleanup costs to remove damage/smell. -$50 per set of sheets replacement cost(we use 300-400 thread count sheets), or comforter, or throw blankets...if damaged or stolen. -Towel replacement fees if damaged or stolen: $4 per face towel, $10 per bath towel. -$35 to $50 per large couch pillow & $15-$20 per small bed throw pillow...if damaged or stolen. -Damage or Theft of any decor/necessity/kitchen items will be assessed a fee equivalent to replacement cost. -Maximum 4 people allowed at any time to stay in the house, and background check for 18 & over must be completed for them. Written approval is required for any exceptions to this. If additional 5th person is approved, an additional $10 per night will be charged.
