The house is just a few blocks off Highway 9 with easy year-round access to Summit County but it's a world away. The setting is quiet and peaceful. If you're looking for a place to have loud weekend ski parties, this is not what you are looking for. Offered fully furnished (some furnishings can be removed if not needed). Two bedrooms downstairs with king beds. Upstairs has a queen bed and space for another bed in the alcove under the window opposite the current bed. There is also a pull-out sofa bed in the couch. There are TV's in each bedroom and one in the living room. They are all Roku enabled but you can configure any preferred streaming device. Rental includes the upper two floors of the house and the garage. House backs to the forest with large decks at the front and rear. Distant views of the 14'er, Mt. Bross (you can hike up there from the backyard). The house is in great shape with many updated features. Large hot tub on the rear deck. Starlink internet included and yes, you can easily work from home here. There are separate entrances to the second level (front deck and rear deck) with a smart lock on the front door. Property is located on a very quiet street in the town of Alma. Property is a few blocks from the free bus that connects Alma and Fairplay to Summit County (Breckenridge, Frisco, Dillon, and Silverthorne). Great neighbors. No smoking is permitted on the property. In addition to the garage, there is off-street parking for additional vehicles. There is a large capacity GE all-in-one washer/dryer combo in the unit. There is a hot tub service that is scheduled every other week. You will need to provide basic maintenance between those services, i.e. adding chemicals - provided by the owner - as needed to balance the water. Snow maintenance will be the responsibility of the tenants. The driveway area is rather modest by mountain standards and takes about an hour to clear after storms. Rear deck is the other area that will need some snow removal. Several shovels are provided at the house. You won't find any long list of application fees or crazy credit score requirements here. However, you will need to prove that you have an income source that adequately covers the rent and utilities. Expectations are simple - be honest, pay rent, and respect your neighbors. Note - The owner lives in the downstairs studio part-time, a few months per year and will let you know when they're around. For now, they will not be there for most of December and January. The downstairs apartment is never rented. There are no shared entrances or shared common areas in the house. House is currently actively rented on AirBnb.
