I am looking to sublet my Ravenswood apartment by the end of March; I am moving out of the city and I would like to find someone to take over my lease with the option for a new lease in June of this year. The Apartment: This is a one bed | one bath with a great kitchen. The bedroom can fit a queen sized bed easily and plenty of closet space. The kitchen has marble countertops, a dishwasher, and a lot of storage space. Water and trash pick-up are included in the rent. Location: Ravenswood is a great neighborhood. The apartment is just four blocks west of Winnemac Park and Amundson High School and four blocks north of Lincoln Square. Lincoln Square has so many festivals throughout the year including a great Arts Fest and Apple Fest. The restaurants in the neighborhood are great and reliable. I particularly like China Hut on Lawrence for classic Chinese Take-Out or the Green Post on Rockwell for a fun English pub experience. Ravenswood also has all of the amenities you could need; barbershops & salons, dry cleaners, and bookstores (my favorite is Ravenswood Used Books on Montrose). Transportation & Parking: The apartment is about 15-20 minutes away from 90 and 94, there are a couple of bus stops a block away, and the brown line is a walkable distance. Parking is street parking, but does not require permit. I have never had trouble finding a spot nearby. Sublet: The sublessee will need to cover rent and their own utilities, but will not need to pay a move-in fee or security deposit. The sublessee will need to fill out an application with the property manager (Winnemac Properties). Application Fee: $65 Once you contact me with your interest in the apartment, I will send you everything on the application process and connect you with the property managers. Utilities Not Included: Phone/ Internet, Cable, Heat, Cooking Gas, Electricity ~No Pets. ~No smoking allowed in or around the building or on the premises. ~No Storage ~Lessee shall not engage in offering the premises as a short-term or vacation rental. ~Key Replacement is $25/ key This lease has two months left on it. If the sublessee is in good standing at the time that the lease is up, Winnemac Properties will work with them to create a new lease if they choose to stay. Once the sublessee takes over the lease, Winnemac Properties will generate a profile page on their tenant site where the sublessee can pay rent and make maintenance requests.
