Our home is in a very nice neighborhood called Long Hollow Woods on a road that ends with a cul-de-sac. We have wide streets, curbs and buried power lines. The HOA is only $120. per year.
The living space, 2366 sq ft, is on one level but there’s a 650 sq ft apartment that opens to the back of the house downstairs. The house is on a hill, one story in the front and 2 stories in the back. The apartment has a full kitchen, bedroom with walk-in closet and living room. It has light grey ceramic tile floors throughout.
Next to the apartment there are two garage bays, one of which is 2 cars deep.
On the main level, we have two fireplaces, the one in the dens burns gas logs, and the one in the living room burns regular logs with a gas starter. This could be replaced with gas logs but we like to burn wood, starting it with gas. There are ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms rooms, the den, living room and all the rooms in the apartment.
We have hardwoods throughout the main house except in the bedrooms where there is carpet. There’s a large garden tub ( 2 people wide) in the master bathroom along with a walk-in closet and a shower room with its own double sinks and a commode room with shower and sink next to the tub bathroom. It opens to the laundry room which opens to the hall . Thus there are two ways to access the master suite.
The house has a split floor plan with two bedrooms at the other end from the master bedroom. They share a bathroom with duel sinks and a bathtub. In addition, one bedroom has its own half bath and could be used as an extra master bedroom.
There is a nice porch that is accessible only from the living room through a sliding door with triple windows. It has no access from the outside to the ground below making it feel extra safe anytime of day,
The living room has a vaulted ceiling and both the dining room and master bedroom have Trey ceilings.
The dining room has triple bay windows and a crystal chandler. It holds an 11 ft dining room table.
The den is quite big with a large picture window and two sliders on the sides. It has a closet that has a pulldown staircase to the large attic. It could be used as a 4th bedroom on the main lever or a den. The den has a custom made shade. All other windows have blinds.
There is a breakfast nook off the kitchen which has another triple bay window.
Both kitchens’ appliances go with the house. The apartment does not have a dishwasher though.
There is an 19.5 ft by 36 ft Grecian inground pool with a brand new pool liner installed this summer. It is a saltwater pool. It has a cover that is used to put on to cover the pool for winter. There is a tiger shark sweeper. There are 2 black metal umbrella tables each with 4 chairs. There are 2 black metal chase lounge chairs and a small table between them. There are some storage containers at the pool for supplies. There is a privacy fence surrounding the pool.
The house never runs out of hot water as there is a tankless hot water heater. All windows except the front door area have triple pane windows with krypton gas which makes for energy efficiency.
We are about a mile from Publix grocery store and in less than another mile is I 65 m, exit 97. This puts us in Sumner county, right near the Davidson county line. Our taxes are lower here!
There is a lot of wildlife in our neighborhood and all yards are kept up. We have never had any crime at our home. Neighbors are like family.

What the owner loves about this home
Living space is all on one level with a two car garage in basement and also a mother-in-law apartment in the basement. Very little traffic that comes by our house as it is dead-end road. Lots of trees and well maintained yards with up-scale homes. It’s close to Davidson county but without county taxes as it is in Sumner County.
