New HVAC installed in 2014. New roof in 2011. All windows now have Levolor top down/bottom up cellular shades (convenient!); one bedroom has room-darkening shades. Kitchen features quartz countertops, pull-out coffee nook, pull-out storage drawers, 2 lazy susans, 99" x 42" island with induction stove top (there are USB & 3-prong electrical outlets and overhead lighting switch on island). 2 pull-out cutting boards (used for hot dishes out of the oven--never used for cutting), and pantry with pull-out drawers perfect for canned goods and tea/coffee. Built-in spice rack in one of the kitchen cupboards. Additional storage in built-in buffet plus built-in desk with built-in glass-front display. This house has so much storage we've never filled it. Laundry room has space for large washer/dryer set with shelving above for convenience and tons of additional storage. It also includes a very convenient, fully functional laundry sink. The walk-in pantry is also part of the laundry room and also has a pull-out shelf (convenient!). Beyond large closets, there is built-in storage in two bedrooms and in the hallway between the bedrooms. Hallway storage also has a pull-out board for folding laundry. Our favorite room is a bedroom/plant-room, which we use as an office. 9 floor to ceiling windows provide great light. Plank ceiling with beams is beautiful. Built in sink and vanity make watering plants easy. Alarm system is new and covers all exit doors in the house and in the garage, as well; front door entry has video camera; outside motion detectors with cameras and lights cover the entire backyard. Fully functional underground sprinkling system with well. No need to use city water to keep your grass green. All trees were trimmed by professionals in the summer of 2020. New peach tree in the backyard that is growing like crazy. Fresh peaches (freestone) in two years. Pump house (home of underground sprinkling system & here when we moved in) also used for pool accessory storage, lawn mower, and recently was also converted into a potting shed. #greenthumb Fireplace currently set up for gas, but originally was wood burning. If you revert back, there is a built-in firewood storage that you access from the garage to fill and from the house when you use it. We love giant hibiscus and crepe myrtle. Hibiscus grow flowers that can span beyond 10" in diameter in reds, pinks and whites and get over 5' tall. Crepe myrtle spans from white to purple to pinks and love the sun! Two ceiling stereo speakers in the kitchen; pipe in music from a connection by the front door for a whole-house music experience. New automatic garage doors (2-car) with windows (one-year old); garage very clean and connected to a walk-in shop (with lots of cupboards and drawers (more storage) plus built-in, rugged countertops) that leads out to the backyard; a second door in the garage area leads out to the side yard where you'll find a magnolia tree (still growing) and more hibiscus. Industrial black chain link spans the side and back yards; very dog friendly. There are three entry-points (with gates) into the backyard and one entry-point into the side yard.
