Located directly on the slopes, you can ski right out of the back door. After a day on the slopes, snuggle up by the gas fireplace to warm up. The living room offers a comfy couch, a cozy fireplace, and a TV for movie nights, all with mesmerizing slope views. The fully equipped kitchenette will make any chef feel at home, with a dining table for four. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability with a $25 per hour fee. Shop and relax in nearby downtown Banner Elk, just a short 6-mile drive away, or enjoy one of the many local restaurants. You're also a short drive from Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Beech Mountain, Valle Crucis, Boone, and Blowing Rock. It's highly recommended to bring a 4WD or AWD to access Sugar Mountain, and during winter months, snow chains are suggested. Smoking and pets are not allowed. People other than those in the guest's party may not stay overnight at the property. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur on the premises, nor for the loss of personal belongings or valuables. There is no daily housekeeping service, and while linens are included, daily maid service is not part of the rental rate. A rental agreement is required per North Carolina Chapter 42A Vacation Rental Act. Local authorities may ticket or fine for improper equipment, such as not having chains on tires during winter months.
