This gorgeous upper of a duplex is deceptive. From the street it looks like a cute bungalow and it's small and cute, and then you walk thru, and it's GIANT - to the tune of about 1400 square feet (before we include the attic. I have what might be weird photos in the listing but these are really closeups of the hardwood living room floor, and the stained glass by the fireplace, and the brass faceplates so you can really get a feel for how nice it is. (The carpet is only about a year old by the way.) All of the faceplates in the house have been done in brass, and of course the dining room chandilier is nice so I had to have a photo of it as well. In one of the photos you can see a pull down stairwell that leads to a large attic that is carpeted with the same carpet as the rest of the house. it's about 10 feet wide, and 30 feet long, and has lights, and you can stand in the center of the roof peak. so, it makes for amazing storage (and be sure to ask me about the secret compartment up there). It's behind the Rite Aid off California - a few blocks south of the West Seattle junction, which is a quiet neighborhood, and many of the super friendly neighbors have kids (in fact the next door neighbor Rhonda, runs an at home daycare). I'll be honest, I've had to replace carpet because of pets in the past, so I have a 1 animal policy, with a $1000 deposit.
