Fully furnished Old Town bungalow. The house is easy walking or biking distance to Old Town and Colorado State University. Close to Lee Martinez Park and 0.25 miles from the Poudre River paved walking/biking tail. Great back yard. As you enter the front door you first see the front porch - a lovely place to take in the sun in the morning as it faces east, or just watch dog walkers and runners headed to Lee Martinez Park. As you enter the house you have an area to leave coats and keys and see the living room. The room has a high ceiling with 2 sky lights. There is a sofa, chair, coffee table, and tv in the room. The tv has an Amazon Fire Stick and you can stream common steaming networks. One room over is the kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is updated and has a fantastic Bosch gas oven. There is a dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator. I currently have the dining room table in this room, set for two people. There is also counter-top dining space. If preferred, the dining room table can be moved into the living room and set up to seat six persons. Off the kitchen and living room are the bathroom and master bedroom. The bathroom has a vintage claw foot tub, sink, toilet, and some cabinet storage. The master bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, and a small closet. At the back of the house is a laundry room with washer/dryer, and ample storage in the cabinets and standing rack. There is a staircase that leads downstairs to a partially finished basement. In the basement is a large bonus room that has a pull out sofa, some shelving and a desk (the pictures show the desk in the living room, but I will move this back downstairs for renters). There is a second bedroom down stairs with a full size bed, dresser, and large closet. There is another small room down here with the furnace and water heater, and plenty of room for storage. The backyard has a lovely new porch and two sitting areas and a gas grill. There is a beautiful 6-foot cedar fence that surrounds the yard and the yard is xeriscaped. There is a small storage shed out back that can be used to store bikes. The 1-car detached garage will be locked and used for the owner' storage (but if this is a deal breaker ask and maybe we can work something out). There is plenty of street parking both in front of the house and on the north side of the house. During the winter months, renters will be responsible for keeping the sidewalk in front of the house clear of snow. During summer months, renters will be responsible for mowing the yard. Lease can be for 6 months, or I will also consider a 3-month lease, with the possibility of renewal. Renter is responsible for all utilities with the $1900 price (water, electricity, gas, trash collection). For shorter term rentals, I can keep utilities in my name and the renter pay $2200. Well-behaved pets will be considered for an additional fee. No smoking in the house.
