OTHER TENANT: Hello, I'm ZZ. I'm 36 y.o., non-binary (female at birth), a Seattle native, and I work in clinical research at Fred Hutch Cancer Center. My work hours are typically M / T / Th / F from 9am-6pm and W from 8am-5pm, though it can differ slightly from week to week. I primarily work onsite, but I WFH 1-2 days per week.
I'm listing this 2nd bedroom to help cover rent after my partner passed away. A good prospective subleaser will respect my grief journey. I have a very supportive network of family and friends.
In my free time I enjoy DIY, crafting, Vespa maintenance, refurbishing antiques, playing D&D, protests, travel, camping, and more, but because of my demanding job, I like to spend most weekday evenings relaxing at home, playing video games, or watching Drag Race. I'm extroverted, but my time at home is for recharging my batteries; I may not interact much in shared spaces, but despite that, I'm always easygoing and approachable. To me, silence is not awkward, and doesn't always have to be filled. I love music, but I listen with headphones on. I don't mind if you play music, unless it's country (sorry). I'm a night owl, but I respect agreed-upon quiet hours. I hate mornings, but I'm a very heavy sleeper, so you won't wake me if you're an early riser. I don't have guests over very often, but I have no issue with you doing so, as long as they're respectful. I drink socially but infrequently. I vape marijuana (mostly CBD, sometimes THC) for complex grief/PTSD - usually out on the porch, exclusively outside upon request. I have 4 pet rats (very cute, social, and litter trained) that live in a cage in my room, but are let out to roam (mostly supervised) in my room a few hours each day. If I'm ever out of town for more than 2-3 nights, I have friends come by briefly to check on and play with them. You don't have to interact with them, but you must be comfortable seeing them being interacted with outside the cage and/or in shared spaces.
Monthly rent includes all utilities, internet/wifi, and access to many household amenities. Room can be unfurnished, semi-furnished, or fully furnished depending on your needs. Length of term is flexible.
If selected, you will be required to purchase and provide proof of renter's insurance.
