We're looking to sublet out a room for September 1st! The sublet will go through July 31 with the option to renew. We are pretty flexible, though - we would be happy to make an earlier or later date work for the right fit, and also happy to talk about a shorter term sublet. We're sorry, but we cannot accomodate any additional pets. The bedroom up for rent is set off by itself on the garden floor of the house. It's a very large room (14 x 11 ft), it has a north and an east facing window, and a private bathroom! The house in general is big and well designed for sharing, there's a large kitchen, a backyard, and even two entire living rooms. You would have your own entire full-sized refrigerator, and a whole pantry to yourself. There's a spare guest bedroom upstairs that you would be welcome to use for friends or family whenever you might have visitors coming to town. My husband and I are both working professionals in our 30's (31 and 36), and we live here with our family - being our 1 year old toddler, and our two scruffy dogs. We've always lived with roommates, and we've just kept that going over the years out of a sense of both being financially conscious and really enjoying having people around. Our current roommate of the last two years is an international student, he is moving out at the end of July to go live with his girlfriend. The dogs and the toddler are of course out and about around the house, so we're looking for someone who likes both pets and kids! Your bedroom would be on an entirely separate level of the house from everyone else, though, so there's a good level of privacy. The house is usually pretty low-key, but we do host the occasional dinner party with friends. We usually keep the place generally pretty neat and tidy without anyone going crazy over it.
