Hello! I currently have a room in my apartment available for rent. The apartment is a first floor, two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in Raleigh- near Cary Crossroads area. THE PHYSICAL * The apartment currently is serviced by TWC for internet (high speed), and basic cable for one tv (living room), and (as should be obvious) air conditioning and heating. * The room itself, as mentioned before, comes with a full-sized bed, table, nightstand, and dresser. It comes with its own attached bath (it has its own mini hall which can be closed off from the living room), walk-in closet and faces the front of the apartment. There is a medicine cabinet in the wall, and a smaller closet for toiletry/ towels and the like. * The apartment is situated very near Cary Crossroads Shopping Center, in a gated community complete with a great club house, spa-like pool (grills, cabanas, bathrooms, out door shower to rinse, a pergola), gym, car wash/vacuuming area, tennis court, and a very clean, safe, and quiet neighborhood. I haven't run into any issues with the neighbors aside from one guy who parks like a [removed];). It's pretty quiet, family friendly, and doesn't have a lot of the drama with neighbors I have experienced else where (no fights, no gun shots during day or night) and I have seen some people run next door to borrow some sugar- its kind funny to see that. * A pet is allowed in the apartment, with pet deposit, but no monthly fee (as far as I am aware). They do limit the pets to cats, dogs, or fish. * Patio is coming together with a small BBQ, bench, and variety of plants- I am adding to this as of late. ** I will post pictures once my current roommate moves out** THE ROOMMATE That'd be me. I'm 24, a friendly introvert who loves Netflix and Amazon Prime (way too into Reign, Downton Abbey, AHS, Kimmy Schmidt, and various superhero shows), her dog, and sisters(they don't live here, but visit and sometimes spend the night). I love animals a great deal . I don't do drugs (and frankly, don't tolerate them), drink liquor on occasion (nothing crazy and never to get [removed], just relax with friends), do arts and crafts, read, and volunteer with a variety of groups. I also have a pretty awesome work schedule that enables me to have most of the afternoon/evening off. Cooking and baking are fun hobbies- so I occasionally host themed dinners for friends and you're welcome to join in or invite some over too. I just don't like doing dishes:( I will, but it'll probably require some good music. I'm a woman if you haven't guessed yet. THE POOCH A red and white terrier, neutered and vaccinated. He sleeps in my room, and is allowed on all my seating areas (excluding the available bed), a cuddle bud who adores cats, and is here primarily for my health issues (that's all worked out with the management office). He stays home during my work hours solely because he literally cannot attend my work (I work in an extremely sanitary health facility), but he goes on all trips/vacations with me. He does take naps with my current roommate, when she wants a buddy and while I am at work. He is brushed regularly and bathed often, nails trimmed, and enjoys eating left overs. He also, for your knowledge, is up to date on all vaccinations, is pest free, and on his flea/tick/mosquito medication(it's all natural, so once a month be prepared to smell lemon-grass and herbs). THE IDEAL CANDIDATE No criminal record, no drugs, no alcoholics, no parties. May or may not have 1 pet, but if so, must get along with my dog and be on the quiet end, spayed/neutered and vaccinated. House-trained too. (Watching it isn't an issue if you go on vacation, if I'm home, and you provide all needed supplies.) 25 and Up, preferably female, but not against having a respectful male roommate.
