In 1800 a center chimney farmhouse that was built sometime in the 1740's was moved from somewhere else on the property and added to a slig htly larger center chimney house. The result was a large victorian farmhouse. There are five fireplaces, all functional. The kitchen fireplace has a "bee-hive" oven beside it. It appears to have been given new windows in the middle 1800's. Changes were made as needed to accomodate electicity and modern plumbing.
