Great location for this great top-level apartment with good access and bus service to UW, Children's and downtown. Clean and crisp 1 BR / 1 BA condo in a great complex across from Magnuson Park offered below Zillow and informal rent estimates, even though the unit has an in-unit washer and dryer that was replaced with brand new (bigger and better) machines in the past year --uncommon for most units of this type. Includes one dedicated / reserved parking spot near the unit. Great use of space with built-in closet organizer along with other storage inside the unit. Dishwasher. Wood-burning fireplace for those cold and damp winter days. Partial mountain views of the Cascades from the living room and deck / balcony. Also a separate and secure individual storage unit outside the unit. Common areas in the complex include a game room, pool, hot tub, and sauna, though COVID currently restricts the use of these facilities. Most pictures are from a few years ago, but the unit is in the same great condition and the only change is the pictured updated stacked front-load washer and dryer. This used to be our own home and we think it's a great place to live. We're not slumlords (this is our only rental property) and we make repairs to keep the property in its great condition. Let us know if you are interested in applying. We're planning to tentatively show the unit Saturday 12/4, Sunday 12/5, Monday 12/6, Friday 12/10, Saturday 12/11, and / or Sunday 12/12. For obvious reasons, we prefer showing and renting the unit as soon as possible. Available immediately. We are flexible to at least some degree on lease start date depending on your situation and needs! Likewise, we've listed a one-year lease term as a placeholder, but are willing to consider other options as well if you need something different. Lease terms may vary for leases shorter than a year. We'd prefer a long-term tenant. We're looking for someone who will love the place, be responsible, and both enjoy and be respectful of your great new neighbors. If this sounds like you, drop us a line! An application and credit / background check will be required. We're looking for a tenant with a positive rental history and job-related income appropriate for the rent amount. The listing may be showing up as "Listed by management company" at least in some locations, which I can't seem to fix even though I clicked "For rent by...property owner." Anyway, disregard any misleading information... You don't need to fill in whatever information this website is asking for--just send a message, e-mail, text, or call to note your interest and we can take it from there. If you call and we're not able to pick up at that particular moment, please do leave a voicemail and we'll call you back as soon as possible. No smoking. No pets. One year lease preferred, but shorter (6 month?) duration considered depending on individual situation and potentially with different lease terms. Interested parties must schedule an appointment to see the unit in person to make sure it meets their needs. Applications will then be required to move forward and these applications will include a credit and background check (conducted via TransUnion's SmartMove), a verified positive rental history and a verified employment / income history that is stable and sufficient to pay the required rent in addition to other life expenses. The unit is currently vacant and ready to rent, so a lease that starts sooner is preferred, though not the only consideration. We're not currently accepting applications directly through Zillow as I'm not sure of the specifics of how that works and we already have identified a separate background / credit check provider. We may change this at a future time. Application required including an application fee for a credit / background check. We have identified a reasonably-priced service for this and won't make any money on this, but rather simply pass along our costs for these fees. First and last month's rent due at lease signing. First month's rent pro-rated as appropriate. The security deposit is required prior to receiving the keys. Owner pays for water, sewer, garbage, and monthly condominium association dues. Tenant pays for electricity (historically very reasonable) and any internet and / or cable connectivity.
