The old-fashioned kitchen, with custom distressed cabinets, features a Heartland stove (gas cooktop & electric convection oven), refrigerator, dishwasher, tile countertops, and a pantry with washer/dryer hookups. The 70" wide kitchen window gives you a great view of the river. Dining area has a river view. Master bedroom has a walk-in closet and en suite with double sinks and whirlpool pedestal tub. Cozy guest bedroom, a 2nd bathroom with shower, custom log stairway, and a loft that could be used for an office or bedroom. There are 3/4" heart pine floors in the living room and bedrooms and beautiful tile floors in the kitchen, hallway, and 2nd bath. It features high, tongue-and-groove pine ceilings throughout the cabin. For heating, there is radiant heat in all of the floors, as well as a huge stone wood-burning fireplace which blasts warm air to keep you nice and cozy. It has ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms. The master bedroom and dining area each have sliding doors onto large, covered decks, and there is wide decking around the prow and kitchen. The 4' high crawl space spans under the entire cabin houses the boiler system and a brand new Rinnai on-demand water heater, with plenty of room for storage. Two new boiler pumps were installed this year. A 1000-gallon propane tank is buried underground. The water pump brings you refreshing, delicious mountain water, right out of the tap. A 16' x 16' deck sits on the water’s edge, giving you an entirely different view of the river and providing a great space to entertain or just kick back and enjoy a glass of wine and watch the river go by. Built in 2003 of fallen lodgepole pine logs in the Swedish Cope style, this log home has all of the beauty, rustic charm, and warmth you could want in a cozy, custom log cabin.
