QUALIFING PROCESS:
In order to be considered, you will need to contact us by phone to answer a few questions about your income information, so we can pre-qualify you.
Total move in cost is $3,467 for most applicants. To qualify for the $3,467 move in cost, at least one of the applicants must have full time employment for at least one year at the same job earning at least $35,000 per year, with written proof. SSI and other forms of income are not considered earned income. The move in costs include first month's rent $1,500, security deposit $1500, first month water/sewer escrow $75 (to be credited toward the water/sewer bill), City of Pontiac trash fee (once per year) $142, cleaning fee $150, and a City of Pontiac name registration fee $100. No utilities are included.
There are three different ways that you can qualify to rent this property:
1. If you have maintained employment at the same place for at least 1 year and earned at least $35,000 in 2024.
2. If you and another adult who will be living in the property combined with your income amounted to at least $35,000 in 2024 and are both currently employed.
3. If you have someone who will guarantee that the rent will be paid who has maintained employment at the same place for at least 1 year and earned at least $35,000 in 2024.
There is no credit check, but you must meet the income requirements and be able to verify your income. No application fee. A $35 fee per person for a background check is required, if your application is approved.
The house will be rented to the first qualified person. Interested people must do a phone consultation with landlord's agent prior to scheduling a showing for purposes of pre-qualifying to lease the property. Applications will be given to qualified individuals once the property is viewed.
Renter is responsible for all utilities.
