To meet various short-term renting needs, the leasing manager of the apartment building agrees that the lease can be extended up to July 30, 2017 at the current monthly rent of $1620, as compared to at least $1700 a month for the same or a comparable apartment with a new lease of the same lease period. The sublet tenant will have to go through application and approval process with the apartment leasing office to take over my lease, and will be responsible for February, March, and April rent at the current monthly rent of $1620. As an incentive, the sublet tenant?s January stay at the apartment is free, a $900 value, and a cash reward of $360 will be provided to an applicant who successfully applies by January 14, 2017 and takes over the lease as of February 1, 2017, making the effective monthly rent at $1500 till the lease runs out. A successful applicant taking over the lease as of February 1, 2017 will also be reimbursed the application fee of $50 if the leasing office does not waive the application fee.
