The address of the building is 600 N McClurg Court, Chicago, IL 60611. The apartment is about 650-sq. ft., on the 45th (top) floor at a rent of $1,685.00 per month. That rent includes heat, gas, water, and garbage. You also, of course, get a gorgeous view of the city as the apartment is on the 45th floor! You will have to pay for wifi and electricity on top of that. Pros - The Apartment 1. The apartment is located on the top floor of the building 2. Has a gorgeous view of the city (not facing the lake) 3. The apartment is facing west, so you can see the sunset from your window. 4. I got a pretty great deal on the apartment with the rent due to covid pricing, as similar apartments currently are being rented out for $2000+ per month. So, at $1,685.00, I definitely got a sweet deal. Which means, you will too! :) 5. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, and microwave! The appliances all work great! The stove is electrically operated. 6. Of course, a full-sized bathroom with a bathtub and a shower 7. The apartment also has a bedroom (studio convertible), where the room is separated from the living room by French doors 8. Heating/cooling HVAC unit 9. The apartment has big large windows, which lets in lots of sunlight! The Building 1. It's located in the prime Streeterville location of Chicago, IL. High-rise living literally doesn't get better than this! 2. There is a fully functional washer-and-dryer area in the building itself. Also, if you so choose, you can read free books and novels from the library that's close to the washers, while your clothes get cleaned! 3. The building has a 24x7 heated INDOOR pool. So, you can go for a swim even in the winter! The depth of the pool goes up to 9 ft. 4. It also has 3 INDOOR tennis courts, bookable up to 11pm at night (any day of the week) 5. Other amenities include fully equipped gym, ping pong tables, bike storage, cyber cafe, great staff, security, cleanliness, great management, and more 6. Oh and from time-to-time they setup free to-go doughnuts and other food stalls in the lobby! 7. The building also has a beautiful sundeck, which has free barbecue grills, and a great view of downtown Chicago 8. And, there's a 7Eleven within the building itself! And its open 24 hours. So, you don't even have to go outside during winters! 9. A full-service package room with someone manning the package room (8am - 7pm on weekdays, 9am-6pm on Saturday, and Sunday closed) 10. And I can say from personal experience that maintenance requests get taken care of promptly and professionally, without any hassles The Location 1. And finally, the location of Streterville, Chicago is obviously amazing. With a 96 Walk Score, and a 94 Transit Score, you can find just about anything within a two-minutes walk. Be it coffee, liquor, food, groceries, etc. 1. Both the Chicago river and Lake Michigan are within a 5 minute walk distance *The actual bathroom and kitchen finishes are slightly different and older than the pictures. Everything else (including view) is exactly as you see it. Sub-lease start: Dec 20 onwards Sub-lease end: March 31 Rent: $1685 You will be able to extend the lease if you want to and take advantage of the low rent.
