Charming house on quiet street and right on Fairmount Park just up the hill from historic Rittenhouse Town, site of the first paper mill. Half a block to Lincoln Drive so easy drive to Expressway or Kelly Drive Neighborhood Description Blue Bell Hill is between Mt. Airy and East Falls. It once housed workers from the various mills in the area and in Manyunk. It's convenient to the river drives and the expressway and the neighborhood is rather well knit with many residents having lived here for 60-80 years followed by their children who find it hard to break away. Hiking, horseback riding, biking, and walking trails abound in this part of the park. The Wissahicken Creek is a short walk and it is stocked with trout in the summers. A large picnic area and two ball fields are short walks for all in this area. Kids enjoy sledding on Tommy's Hill (Thomas Mansion).
