What the owner loves about this home
After nearly 47 years in this home, it’s time for me to move closer to family. This house has seen generations grow, seasons change, and countless memories made within its walls. I’m hoping to find someone who will love it as much as I have. This charming ranch-style house, built in 1957, has been more than just a place to live. It’s where I raised my family and put in the time and care to make sure it stayed strong, comfortable, and welcoming through the years. The cedar siding offers long-lasting durability, and the bright, cheerful interior is filled with natural light—especially after adding custom Elite double-hung windows in 2019. Inside, you’ll find two main-level bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, with the potential to finish additional space in the lower level. The basement walls have been reinforced with steel beams, and the tiled floor system effectively diverts water to keep the space dry and usable. The updated furnace and mini-split system provide comfort and efficiency year-round. The home also features an oversized single-stall garage and plenty of storage throughout the home, including a large 8’ x 12’ shed with a loft and built-in shelving—perfect for tools, seasonal items, or hobbies. Outside, the home sits on a quiet corner lot with a beautifully maintained yard, full of perennials, shrubs, and mature trees that bring color and life across the seasons. The composite back deck with aluminum railings has been one of my favorite places to spend time—low-maintenance and peaceful. The double driveway allows for generous off-street parking, and being south-facing, it gets the sun just where you want it in the winter. Sibley has been a wonderful place to call home—a community that’s been good to me, full of kind neighbors and a slower, more peaceful pace of life. I’m grateful for all this home has given me, and I’m looking forward to passing it on to someone who will love it just as deeply.
