The apartment resides in Brownsville, MN at Pool 8 of the Mississippi River. The apartment is new and fully furnished. It is a one bedroom/bath apartment, but has a second queen sized Murphy bed in the in the main area of apartment by the living room. When need is collapsed, the area could be used for different functions: dedicated work area, or exercise spot, to name a few ideas. The apartment is ideal for a remote worker looking for a very comfortable place to stay while working away from home for an extended period of time. The apartment is the top level of a recently built 'shouse' (shed/house) and has a huge deck to lounge on in the warmer parts of the year. Grill your meal and/or simply enjoy the outdoors in this comfortable and private space. (It is built with maintenance free materials, so always looks great.) The area provides easy access to river activities (boating, skiing, tubing, wake boarding, knee boarding, kayaking, fishing --hard water and soft water, etc). If you like to fish, you will find large/small mouth bass, walleye, northern pike, crappy, blue gill, perch and various other fish species in this pool. The area also has white tail deer, wild turkey and duck hunting seasons. Pool 8 has a wild life sanctuary where you will see and hear a large variety of birds (eagles, hawks, pelicans, swans, sand hill cranes, geese, ducks, etc). Snowmobiling is a favorite pass time, during the winter months. La Crosse has a snow ski resort during the winter as well. You will find golf courses, volleyball leagues, hiking on our beautiful bluffs, Frisbee golf courses, and about any outdoor recreation you can think of here and in the neighboring towns.
