This spacious bachelor unit within walking distance of the UCLA campus is for rent! As a UCLA student, the location does not get any better. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to campus! The unit itself is ideal for one person. I was able to fit a queen size bed, a futon, and a desk comfortably. I still had more than enough space for a t.v. area if I wanted to have one. There is more than enough storage space in the closet. There are also some shelves and drawers where one could store things. There is no A/C, but the management company allows tenants to purchase their own A/C unit; however, I was able to keep cool with an inexpensive, portable fan that I bought. There is heating in the unit. The unit includes an efficiency kitchen (an electric stove with two burners, a mini-fridge, but no oven) and has a full sized fridge as well. There is also a full bathroom (toilet, sink, and shower). The entire unit, except for the bathroom, is carpeted. At this unit, you get the perks of living in Westwood (proximity to campus, fraternities, and Westwood Village) without any of the cons (excessive noise and loud parties) making it an ideal place to study and live comfortably. Did I mention that this unit comes with its own parking space? Yes! The unit has its own parking space within the property, so there is no need to hassle with finding street parking (or risk getting a parking ticket) or purchasing an overpriced parking spot elsewhere. Westhill Management is also a good company to rent from. They are always available over the phone or at their office and they are quick to send someone over for maintenance issues that may arise. It's a great place to live. Note: The unit will be unfurnished. Owner pays for water. Tenant pays for all other utilities. One reserved parking spot in property is included with rent (no additional fee).
