This self-contained townhouse offers a private entrance and duplex living. A white kitchen with ss appliances is open to the dining area with large window overlooking the front courtyard and a hall leads to the generously sized LR with a glass wall overlooking the patio seamless flow for summer living. The hall works as a buffer for the more utilitarian parts of daily living, like coat closet, bathroom and mechanical room. The 2nd floor offers two large bedrooms, one facing the private patio in the back and the other main bedroom with an office nook. I lived in my home for 2.5 year years, renovated the garden, and then rented it to a lovely couple over the past years. They are moving to Santa Fe, and now I'm looking for a tenant to replace them in my lovely townhouse in Somerville. See below for more info. Storage: Outside of the attic and space under the stairs are is also a linens closet, pantry space, and a big closet under the stairs that I currently use as my toy closet it's where I keep my inflatable SUP, climbing gear, snowboard, hiking gear, extra shoes, etc. Appliances: Brand new Stovetop, purchased July 2024! Washer + dryer + dishwasher in unit. Big fridge with an ice hookup. Backyard: There is a spacious fenced in back yard / patio which I have recently redone. It has some very cozy furniture, a lovely table, a gas grill, and three large raised garden beds. There is also an espalier apple tree and hanging string lights, which lights it up beautifully at night. (My garden was my big project last year :) ) Bedrooms: Both bedrooms have a natural spot to put a desk. The master has two large closets, the smaller room has one large closet. They're both spacious and have plenty of natural light. The back of the house is almost due south so the back bedroom (not master) and the living room get a lot of very nice natural light throughout the day. Utilities tend to be pretty inexpensive (Average $218.84/mnthly) the whole house is electric and is heated with radiators. There is a in-wall AC Unit downstairs (I can also sell you my in-window air conditioner). The house takes on a lot of natural solar gain during the winter, but doesn't during the summer because of the foliage from the trees blocking some that sunlight. The house is also well-insulated because of the neighbors being on either side. I look forward to hearing from you!
