The North Shore of Oahu, as the surf capital of the world, is widely known for its large winter surf swells and popular surf spots. Many popular beaches become too dangerous for swimming in the winter months. Protected by a large reef, the sandy bottom beach in front of the home is safe for swimming all year round, making it an ideal location for families with children.
