Neighborhood Description This is a pocket section of Van Nuys that is highly under-rated and overlooked. Most occupants on the 6900 & 7000 blocks of Ranchito Ave are home owners. We have a neighborhood watch; many residents are telecommuters and work from home which adds security to the neighborhood. There are very nice seasonal block parties and a block captain with direct communication with the police. This neighborhood is close to everything and extroidinarily quiet.
