We are in search of a new roommate to fill the sixth room of our group house in Petworth. The room's current occupant is moving out in the next couple of weeks, so move-in could be as early as mid-April. The house is conveniently located on a quiet street just minutes from the Georgia Ave/Petworth Metro stop and 64, H8, 70, and 79 bus lines. The house is huge, with six bedrooms across three floors, three-and-a-half bathrooms, a great kitchen (and a smaller second kitchen in the basement), large common spaces, a music room, central heating and air, and new appliances (the entire house was renovated by our landlord last year). Great neighborhood bars and Yes! Organic are also within walking distance.We are five guys in our 20s who like to work hard and play hard. We are looking for a new roommate (girl or guy, doesn't matter), and our only requirements are cleanliness (we keep the place looking good at all times) and steady employment (just want to make sure rent gets paid on time).The room is upstairs, it's spacious, good closet space, exposed brick, and will run you $823 per month plus utilities (which are reasonable). You will share a bathroom with one other person, and the bathroom has a skylight above the shower.
