There is a SHARED BACKYARD for the building which is great for laying out/ grilling, dinner parties etc. The apartment is pre-wired for internet, and has hard wood floors. The building itself is equipped with a large LAUNDRY ROOM and FITNESS ROOM. The building is a new construction so has very thick walls. There is a new police station across the street which in regards to safety is actually pretty great. Its only for detectives and parking meters so no loud sirens but makes the block one of the safest in the East Village. Ju The area is awesome- The F train is blocks away at 1st Ave and 1st street (24 hour stop) and that literally goes straight up 6th avenue to NYU, West Village- Penn station, Bryant Park, Rockefeller and finally Central park, the J,M,Z are 3 blocks away (8 min) There's a huge running track on Houston a block over where Zog sports plays a lot of games. Two free Outside public swimming are a block away as well. There's a Whole Foods down Houston street with a YMCA that has an Olympic sized swimming pool. SOHO, Lower East Side, NYU, Greenwich Village, Nolita, and of course all the East Village are close by. Oh MTA has a website now that tells you the exact minute when the bus will be on the corner. F SUBWAY TRAIN 3 avenues over on 1st ave and 1st. (Says 2nd ave but 24 hour entrance on 1st ave & Houston, 7 8 minute walk M9 BUS Pick up in front of building. Takes you north to 27th & 1st or south to Financial district (South End & Albany) M21 BUS Pick up 40 feet away on Houston. Takes you west to West Village, Soho & Tribeca M14C BUS Pick up 30 feet away on C. Takes you north to 14th street then west thru Union Square hitting almost all subways and ending in Chelsea at 23rd and West side highway. Citi Bike on the corner of 9th & C GYMS BLINK Ave A (6th & 7th) NYSC on Ave A (2nd & 3rd ) EQUINOX Orchard and Houston SUPER MARKETS TRADER JOES 14TH & A WHOLE FOODS (Union Square) KEY FOODS ( 24 Hours ) Ave A & 4th SHOP FAIR (super cheap) 3rd & C I will happily answer any questions you have about details of the apt showing times and move in dates.
