    Are you looking for an amazing SHARED house, LARGE, newly renovated, right NEXT to metro, and plenty of NO hassle street parking? Well you've found it!! This newly renovated rowhouse will be available starting September 1st. You would be SHARING the house with two fun (and pretty good looking) younger professionals. Here are the details of the house: The house is over 1600 sq ft. There is a very small, gated front entry patio that leads up to the front porch with a swing. As you walk into the house you'll see the entire first floor is completely open. You will be very pleasantly surprised as to how open it is, there are no walls separating the common rooms. We currently have 3 couches in the living area for seating and a chaise chair (just to give you an idea as to how large it is). Additionally, there is also a dining room table that fits at least 10 (note: the furniture in the house isn't from street corners, it's nice, grown up furniture). There are hardwood floors throughout the entire house. The kitchen has all stainless steal appliances, dishwasher, gas stove, and refrigerator. There are gorgeous granite counter-tops throughout the entire house. There is a powder room with sink and toilet on the first floor. The second floor is where all the bedrooms are. There are 3 bedrooms, the room available is the Master Bedroom and it is very large. You will have your own PRIVATE dual vanity sink bathroom with a jacuzzi tub! The room has huge ceilings. The LARGE walk-in closet already has built in shoe racks, clothing racks, etc...plenty of space. The bedroom can easily fit a queen or king and space for dresser, desk, tv stand, etc.... Right next to the bedroom is a WASHER AND DRYER. The backyard, as far as city living goes, is amazing. There is a very large deck on the first floor that runs the length of the back of the house, there is also a deck equally as large on the second floor. The yard is gated and has plenty of room for entertaining (patio/grass area). Currently there is no parking available in the back as the space are being occupied but as I mentioned before there is never a problem getting parking on our street. If there is a yard party planned we usually move the car out of the back so there is plenty of room for entertaining. Also, there is central a/c throughout the house, so no need to worry about clunky window units. We also have a security alarm system that can be operated by your phone. The neighborhood: The house is located in Petworth and right next to Columbia Heights. The brand new Safeway just opened up 2 blocks away, there is bike share close by, oh and I already mentioned metro being really close! From front door to metro takes about 45 seconds.....45 SECONDS! We're only one stop away from Columbia Heights and two stops to U Street. Uber/Lyft is only a 7 dollar ride to U Street and DuPont is about 11 dollars. There are a ton of great restaurants walking distance to the house. The Columbia Heights area with Target, Giant, and shops is about a 10-15 minute walk from the house or a 2 minute drive. Biking would probably take 5-10 minutes. We're looking for a September 1st move-in date but that is flexible. We can schedule a time for you to view the house and meet the roommates. You'd be sharing the house with 2 other young professionals. If you have pets, that can be discussed when you view the place.
